Antique Roycroft Arts & Crafts Pottery Glazed Ceramic Jug c. This authentic Roycroft pottery jug was hand made at the Roycroft community in East Aurora, New York during the height of the American Arts & Crafts movement. Wheel-thrown and finished by hand, it features a classic utilitarian form with a gracefully applied handle and a rich brown glaze exhibiting natural variation and age-appropriate crazing consistent with early Roycroft production. The impressed Roycroft Pottery mark on the base confirms its authenticity and period manufacture. Subtle surface irregularities reflect traditional hand craftsmanship and the Roycroft philosophy that functional objects should also possess artistic beauty.

Original Roycroft pottery remains increasingly scarce and highly sought after by Arts & Crafts collectors, making this jug a strong example for a curated collection or refined interior display. Antique, hand-made Roycroft pottery jug in very good overall condition for its age. The glaze exhibits age-appropriate crazing, consistent with early 20th-century Arts & Crafts pottery and the original firing process.

Minor edge wear and small glaze losses near the base are present, visible in the photos, and are typical of honest use and age. No structural cracks, restorations, or repairs observed. The impressed Roycroft mark on the base remains clear and legible.

A well-preserved example with authentic surface character. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
