Up for consideration is a rare Clewell riveted and hammered copper clad vase. It is signed in print lettering on the bottom.
It stands about 5 inches in height by about 6 inches in diameter... They all culminate at the bottom with a point of which it looks like beneath that the base has a hand hammered textured finish in the bottom section.
You can see what I mean in the photos. I don't think this was a pottery blank that he just covered over I would imagine it his own unique design on this particular one. There are a few pieces that come in the historical in this form meaning the use of rivets etc. There is lidded humidor as well a variety of mugs that appear to be made around 1910 or so.I would consider this to be better than average...
