English Arts & Crafts Tiled Tortoise Shell Bamboo Umbrella Stand. Absolutely gorgeous antique English 19th c. Arts & Crafts bamboo frame umbrella stand with decorative floral art tiles, circa 1890. Stunning tortoise shell finish on genuine bamboo frame. Stunning Arts & Crafts floral art tile back splash.
Sweet leather discs sit atop the four corners of the frame. Nice deep galvanized drip tray in black paint. Beautifully crafted piece with wonderful finishing touches. Brilliant antique English bamboo and art tile umbrella stand will add style and elegance to any space with most any décor!!
Dimensions: Stand measures 35"H (at back) x 16"W x 10-1/2D. Weight is approximately 8 lbs. In excellent antique condition with light normal wear from age and use.
Stand is strong and sturdy with slight wobble. Original tiles are excellent with allover crazing and some grime; no cracks, chips or repairs. Some wear to all surfaces including light scuffs, dings and separations in several bamboo rails.
One front foot is bent inward. Metal drip tray may not be original to stand. Please review pictures thoroughly for condition. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
