Van Briggle Pottery'20's mulberry red cone flower vase shape 754 Arts & Crafts

  
Here is a very nice Van Briggle Pottery vase in their signature mulberry red or Persian rose glaze with dark blue accents. It has a bold design of daisy like cone flowers, stems, and leaves 4 times around the spherical form from the bottom to the top of the vase. This is shape number 754 which was designed in 1908 by Anne Gregory Van Briggle and called "flowers and leaves" in the shape book.

It measures 9 3/8 inches tall and 9 5/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws, just a few clay pimples in the glaze.

It is marked with the firm's double AA box mark and all caps VAN BRIGGLE, Colo. Which dates it from the 1920's. A good Arts & Crafts design.
