Here is a very nice early Van Briggle Pottery vase with an Art Nouveau design of flowers on curved stems covered with a beautiful curdled bi-color blue green matte glaze. It has great relief and detail to the mold and is made of red clay which was only used in 1905, 06, and 07. It is number 404 in the shape book, designed in 1905. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs.

It measures 5 1/8 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest. Marks include the firm's double AA box mark, shape number 404, and the date, 1906.
