Here is a very nice Van Briggle Pottery vase in their signature mulberry red or Persian rose glaze. It has some good deep curdling to the glaze at the lip. This is shape number 300 which was designed in 1905 and listed as "plain" in the shape book. It measures 7 7/8 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws.

It is marked with the firm's double AA box mark, all caps Van Briggle, shape number, and date. A good early piece from the famous Colorado art pottery.
