It stands approximately 9.5 inches tall, approx. 2.5 inches at opening, approx. 2.625 base, and is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, nicks, abrasions, restorations. The carved stylized flowers are cut deeply into the clay body and the thick, mottled, lumpy-rich glazes in magenta, red, deep blues and greens fall gracefully to the bottom of the vase, pooling and puddling in wonderful drips and streaks along the way. It is at once elegant and noble, and a beautiful addition to any collection of Rookwood and the Ombroso carved mat line.
