Scarce Byrdcliffe Blue American Arts & Crafts Pottery Plate

  

Richly glazed, hand thrown old pottery plate from the Byrdcliffe Art Colony near Woodstock, New York. Measures approximately 7.5 inches in diameter.

In very nice condition with no chips or cracks. Some crazing and pops/pitting from firing.

Faintly but definitely marked with the Byrdcliffe wings marked impressed in clay but largely obscured by glaze. I've taken photos with flash and without. Please view them all for a visual description. I only describe something as mint if I have found it in its original packaging.

I will describe any damage or major flaws. I try to offer pieces that are in very good condition or better but I will make note if different. Pottery, china and glassware may show minor pattern irregularities, glaze pops, mold marks etc.
