Here is a very nice Rookwood Pottery matte vellum scenic landscape vase decorated by Edward Timothy Hurley. It has a beautiful view of birches along a lake with a distant tree horizon on the baluster form. It measures 8 3/16 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, XLVI for 1946, V.

For vellum, and ETH for the artist. Also stamped "S" indicating hand thrown.

It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and no crazing. A good piece of arts & crafts style Rookwood vellum.
