Here is a really beautiful Rookwood Pottery matte vellum vase decorated by Lorinda Epply. It has vertical a carved stylized design of poppy flowers and buds in white with green stems against a shaded gray to white to green background. It measures about 9 1/2 inches tall and 3 7/8 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, X for 1910, shape # 907E, V for vellum and a con-joined LE for the artist.

There is an interior tight line that doesn't show on the outside as it lines up with a stem, and no chips, firing flaws, or repairs, and only the typical crazing.
