Here is a beautiful Rookwood Pottery iris glaze vase decorated by Caroline Bonsall who only worked there from 1901 - 1905. It has spray of snow drops and leaves against a shaded ground on a gourd form.

It measures 5 3/4 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, IV for 1904, shape # 388F, a "W" for white clay the Iris glaze designation, and an underlined C. It is in great condition with only a tiny bruise and line to the inside rim and no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs, and typical crazing. A nice early piece of Rookwood's floral artistry in arts & crafts pottery on a sweet form.
