A rare amusing grotesque British Art Pottery ewer. Made by Longpark Pottery and probably designed by Blanche Vulliamy. Modelled as a crocodile with his tail forming the handle.

The body with small apertures possibly to hold flowers. Covered in bluey green glaze with petrol iridescence. 3/4 inches high, 7 inches long.

Condition; Fine, small glaze chip to lip, small chip to the base. One or two tiny frits to feet and two tiny nicks to apertures. A few light glaze scratches. Please see last three photos. No other damage or repairs. Marks; No visible makers marks. Please see my other listings.
