Paul Revere Pottery Saturday Evening Girls Mt Washington NH Tile Arts & Crafts. Here is a very nice Paul Revere Pottery (PRP) Saturday Evening Girls landscape tile of Mount Washington New Hampshire with green fields and blue and purple mountains in semi matte glazes. The design is deeply incised with good contrast and bold color palate. In 1923 the name Paul Revere Pottery was incorporated and after that date pieces were marked with an ink-stamp, the die-stamped seal, or sometimes PRP like this.
It measures about 5 ¾ square and about 11 ½ square framed. The tile is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws, just a little warped (see top edge in reverse picture). A stunning pictorial piece of Arts and Crafts New England art pottery.
Antique frame cut down to fit the tile. Most of these period tiles were made for use as trivets or to be installed.
