Newcomb College Pottery MOON & MOSS SCENIC VASE Arts & Crafts 11-1/2

  

Here is a beautiful Newcomb College Pottery scenic landscape vase in their signature matte blue green glazes. The full moon can be seen on the one side behind the moss covered trees. Well carved with good detail, contrast, and color.

It is in excellent condition with no chips. It does have an interior crack, does not show through on the outside and we did blacklight to make sure no repair to the outside. It measures 11-1/2 inches high and 8 inches in diameter at the widest point. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, a potters mark probably JM for potter Joseph Meyer. A fine example of the quintessential southern art pottery.
