Here is a very nice Newcomb College Pottery scenic landscape vase in their signature matte blue green glazed moss draped oak tree design with a faint full moon peeking through and a tree line at the horizon. It is well carved with good contrast and color. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or firing flaws. It measures 8 1/4 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. Well marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, a con-joined JM for potter Joseph Meyer, a con-joined AFS for decorator Anna Francis Simpson and date code ND18 for 1923.
