Newcomb College Pottery 1916 Narcissus vase AFS Arts & Crafts matte blue green
Here is a beautiful Newcomb College Pottery narcissus decorated bulbous vase in their signature matte blue and green glazes with white flowers and yellow centers. It is very well carved from top to bottom with good contrast and color, and a great shape. It measures 6 1/4 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at the widest.
It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, or firing flaws. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, a conjoined AFS for artist Anna Frances Simpson, date code IH 33 for 1916, and a conjoined JM for potter Joseph Meyer.
