Hyalyn Pottery Erwin Kalla Casual Craft Modernist Blue Bowl with Bamboo Handle

  

An amazing, hard to find Hyalyn Casual Craft speckled blue bowl with bamboo wooden handle. This modernist line was created by Erwin Kalla, and consists mostly of serving pieces in wonderful angular shapes. These pieces came in a few different glaze color treatments, this one is a steel blue with a brownish-ochre speckle. Marked on the bottom with K-7 USA. In good vintage condition, with no cracks or damage.

The bamboo handle has wear, and finish has lightened probably due to water exposure. Metal connector knobs have tarnish and wear. The connector knobs on the sides have wear, scuffing and metal marks. About 9 1/2" wide, 11 1/2" tall to top of bamboo handle, pottery bowl is 6 tall. We do not have a physical store.
