HEAVY! Wheatley Pottery Arts and Crafts Matte Green Vase / Flower Frog

  
Great piece of A&C hand thrown pre 1920s pottery and very heavy. I love this piece and I'm confident that you will too! It is unsigned but shows all the proper signs of age especially on the bottom. You can see how the potter pulled the clay with his fingers to form the shape, especially noticeable on the bottom. Without claiming that it is a piece of Wheatley Pottery, I will leave that to the eye of the collector. It's very organic in style and completely made by hand including every leaf, this is not a mold. Condition: It has two very tiny glaze losses that appear larger in the photo than what's on the actual piece. These only effect the glaze and not the pottery. Otherwise there are no hairline cracks and no crazing.

If you taps the sides it rings true. Measures 10" by 10" by 5" tall the center opening is 4 5/8".
