Hampshire Pottery matte green glaze arts & crafts bottle shape leaf vase
Here is a very nice Hampshire Pottery bottle shape vase with multiple leaves around the bulbous body and a flaring neck. It is covered in one of their best known glazes, a smooth even matte green that thins perfectly on the leaf edges to highlight the design. Made in Keene New Hampshire before 1923 this pottery was influenced by Boston's Grueby Pottery. Marked Hampshire Pottery with the in the mold mark, the M in a circle for Emoretta Robertson, and shape number 11. It measures 7 5/8 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. An excellent piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
