Here is a beautiful Hampshire Pottery ovoid vase with five broad leaves and alternating buds around the body. It is covered in one of their best known glazes, a smooth striated matte green that thins perfectly on the leaf edges to highlight the design. Made in Keene New Hampshire before 1923 this pottery was influenced by Boston's Grueby Pottery. Marked Hampshire in the mold, with the M in a circle for Emoretta Robertson. It is shape number 42 in the catalog.

It measures 7 1/8 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs.
