Here is an very nice large Hampshire Pottery vase with a fat ovoid form and a trefoil or fleur-de-lis design around the shoulder. It is glazed in a matte dark blue green with good curdling and some lighter drips at the rim and the side. Made in Keene New Hampshire before 1923 this pottery was influenced by Boston's Grueby Pottery. Marked Hampshire Pottery with the in the mold mark, the M in a circle for Emoretta Robertson, and shape number 130.It measures 7 1/2 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. An excellent piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
