Here is a very nice Grueby Pottery bulbous vase with a slightly flaring lip. It is covered in a textured and curdled matte green glaze which separates around the shoulder.

It measures 5 1/4 inches high and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest point. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or firing flaws.

Marked under the bottom glaze (barely visible) with the larger circular Grueby Faience Boston USA die-stamp. An excellent example of the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery.
