It is a rare form but has an in-body hairline and two small chips at the rim filled in which are not very noticeable. Marked under the bottom white glaze with the earlier Grueby Faience Boston USA die-stamp. It measures 6 5/8 inches high and 4 5/8 inches in diameter at the widest point. A rare example of the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery in an unusual color.
