Here is a very nice Grueby Pottery squat vase with 6 well tooled leaves around the hand thrown form. It is covered in a finely curdled light matte green glaze which is thin enough to show off the high relief decoration. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just 2 glaze misses to the bottom side which don't really show unless at eye level. Marked with the Grueby Pottery Boston USA die-stamp, a probable date of 10/25/06, and decorator initials of S. It measures 3 1/8 inches high and 6 inches in diameter at the widest point.
