Here is a very nice little Grueby Pottery cabinet vase with a spherical shape and a flared lip to the hand thrown form. It is covered in a thick and curdled matte green glaze. It is in good condition with only 2 rim chips restored, and no cracks or firing flaws. The mark is pretty much obscured on the bottom but the lotus from the center of the die-stamped mark is partially visible.

It measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 3 3/8 inches high. A good little example of the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery.
