Here is a very nice little Grueby Pottery vase with a lobed watermelon like form and five recessed carved panels around the body. It is covered in a beautifully curdled light blue matte glaze. It measures 5 inches high and 3 1/8 inches in diameter at the widest point. There is repair to one small outside rim chip and some crazing, but no cracks or firing flaws. Clearly marked with the Grueby Pottery Co Boston USA die-stamp and the incised decorator initials ER for Eva Russell.
