Early 1900s Antique Blue Matt Weller Ware Art Pottery Vase. Arts And Crafts
This rare old Matt Weller Ware vase with its simple, elegant shape, has shades of beautifully soft, gradating, satin glazed blues and whites. The vase was hand-turned, and on the front and wrapping around to the sides are hand modeled Sweet Pea flowers and leaves. It is 9" tall and 4" at its widest.
It is hand inscribed Matt Weller on the bottom. There is some light crazing and a few hairline cracks descending from the top (they're part of the charm of this piece). This is a wonderful, unique piece of early Matt Weller Ware. I'll include the stand.
