This is a very smart C. H Brannam pottery double gourd vase with dolphin supports decorated by James Dewdney with fish and dated 1894. The decoration is crisp and the colours are strong.

The dolphins are well modelled but some have crude touch ins to the lips and side fins which obviously would have had surface flakes. But other than this, this piece is in great condition.
