For sale today we have this wonderful Arts and Crafts pendant from the Compton Pottery. To a design by Mary Seton Watts, the pendant features a Knight with his shield along with a robed maiden and the words "Love Serve" between them. Tempera glazed to a delicate colourway and highlighted with Gilt. Literature; Hilary Calvert, Compton Pottery pp 223 fig E25 for the same design in a darker colourway.
